IN HIS ARMSIn this painting is a depiction of the unnamed kitten to whom my book Mighty Little Man is dedicated. She lived and died decades ago, but I remember her still.
Within days of starting work on Mighty Little Man, I decided to honor this kitten the best way I knew how, by dedicating the book to her. I also contacted a local artist, Carole Forêt, told her what I wanted, and had her paint In His Arms— because I believe that’s where the kitten is now. Her brief life's story is included in my book, Mighty Little Man: My Story, HIs Story, Our Story. Commissioning this painting was just my way of honoring the life, memory, and innocence of one of God’s most precious creatures. I hope you like it. Prints are available below if you would like one.
